A-Level Results Day

Year 14 students must attend college during their alphabetical timeslot in order to allow for social distancing. Time slots as per surname:

A-E - 8.30am

H-L - 8.45am

M - 9.00am

P-S - 9.15am

T-W - 9.30am

Year 13 students are not to come to school, they will receive their results via text in the morning.

Students need to arrive promptly at the youth centre door within their form class timeslot in order to allow for social distancing. Time slots for results collection are as follows:

12L1 and 12S - 8.30am

12L2 - 9.15am

12H1 - 9.45am

12H2 - 10.15am

Access Testing - Year 11

Access testing for ALL Year 11 students

In order to ensure that all pupils are given the correct support for the duration of their GCSE journey the College will be asking that Year 11 return to school at the following times on Thursday 26th August 2021 to sit their Access Arrangements assessments.

Ms Cunningham (Learning Support Coordinator) has emailed a leaflet to each parent/carer which explains what Access Arrangements are and how we apply them in the classroom and examination setting.

If your child is unable to attend the session please contact the school office on 02892607351 leaving their name, class and reason.

11L1, 11L2 & 11H1 - 9.30am - 10.30am

11L3 & 11H2 - 10.30am - 11.30am

11L4 & 11S - 11.30am - 12.30pm

The assessment sessions have been split in order to facilitate numbers in accordance with Covid-19 procedures. Each child should bring two pens and a pencil with them for the assessment.

Please assure your child that they do not need to revise as this is not a test, it is an assessment based on a number of comprehension exercises. The assessment will last for approximately 45 mins.

Pupils to not wear their school uniform to the assessment. They can wear their own clothes.

Celebrating Success

Due to COVID restrictions, our annual Prize Day - "Celebrating Success" - will be a virtual event again this year. The link to the virtual celebration will be shared via text/email to the parents of all pupils winning prizes on Friday 22nd October 2021.

Open Evening - virtual event

Due to COVID restrictions our open evening will NOT take place from 7.00pm - 9.00pm as we had originally planned.
