Year 9 had a fantastic morning focusing on careers in science, engineering and construction. Thanks to a grant from Neon Futures, Year 9 were treated to a science show from Scientific Sue. Pupils then had a boat race where they constructed their own sailing boats. Pupils were also able to choose a career that interested them and attend a talk and activity session from a visiting speaker in this field. We had towers of straws, bandaged teddy bears, PPE donning and a crime scene to investigate.

I think you will see from the photos that Year 9 had a fabulous day. Huge thanks to the Science department for all their hard work today.
