PTFA

Laurelhill PTFA was formed in 2014 with the aim of bringing the community and college closer together. Our numbers have grown over the years and the PTFA now take responsibility for the Freshers BBQ for our new Year 8 pupils along with aiding and supporting staff and pupils at all college events.

We encourage open and frank discussions regarding the college and any improvements parents may wish to see. This group forms a major role in seeking the opinion of parents in helping the college to move forward and to support both pupils and parents in any way we can.

Our most recent venture is the Walk &Talk group which meets on a Wednesday evening at 7pm in the College Car Park. This group was formed in conjunction with Brighter Minds to help people come together to walk and to talk . This is a new initiative to help with mental health and general health.

The PTFA is open to any parent or friend of the college who wish make a contribution to the growing engagement between college and community. PTFA meets once per month dates are published on Instagram, Facebook and school text. Everyone is welcome.
