Keeping pupils safe and equipping them with the lifelong skills to maintain their own safety is of paramount importance at Laurelhill. 

To that end, a comprehensive preventative curriculum is in place. Issues including internet safety, building resilience, maintaining good mental health, and sexual health and relationships are specifically addressed through the curriculum subject areas of Learning for Life and Work, ICT, Religious Education and Science, but also through a tailored pastoral programme.
