Laurelhill Community College was filled with excitement and celebration on GCSE Results Day, as pupils gathered with friends, family, and teachers to receive their long-awaited grades.
“I am absolutely delighted with the GCSE results this year. We have had an increase of 11% from last year in the number of young people achieving 5+ GCSEs at grades A* – C. I have no doubt this is down to the hard work, determination and resilience of our young people, supported by their parents and staff in Laurelhill who go the extra mile to ensure each young person achieves their full potential. Well done to everyone who received their results today, we are incredibly proud of you.” – Principal Nicola Stevenson
It was a very successful morning, with many pupils achieving fantastic results that reflect their hard work and commitment over the past number of years. Smiles, laughter, and happy tears could be seen throughout the school as pupils shared their successes with classmates.
