ACADEMIC INFORMATION

In Years 8 to 10, all students at Laurelhill Community College build a solid foundation through developing their knowledge of core Geographical skills including map work and the restless planet before progressing to study some of the major global issues of global warming and Rainforest destruction in Year 10. 

AIMS

  • To develop geographical enquiry skills
  • To enable students to become independent learners
  • To help students understand the big issues which affect our world, and understand the social, economic and physical forces and processes which shape and change our world.
