EXAMINATIONS

In 2023, Laurelhill Community College has continued to see excellent success in its Public Examination outcomes with results either exceeding or being in line with that of the Northern Ireland average for similar schools at both Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.

In 2023 83% of pupils achieved 5 or more GCSEs at grades C or higher, many achieving an A grade. Also, 67% of pupils achieved 5 or more GCSEs at grade C or above, including Mathematics and English. 58% of our pupils impressively achieved 7 or more GCSEs at grade C or above. These results are consistent with those of 2022 which is highly impressive as we return to normal assessment methods following the impact of Covid on education. As we move into this new academic year, we work toward improving on these successes for the exam groups of 2024.

The key statistics for 2023, 2022 and 2021 are noted below. Please contact the school if you would like information on previous public examination results.
